Description The Robert Sorby 285 Framing Chisel has a long 10.1/2″, thick blade which is designed for large framing work when working with deep mortices where extra strength is required. The blade is tapered along its length. Fitted with a rugged, heavy duty ash handle. The second hoop on the handle allows for repeated mallet blows and will prevent splitting or mushrooming.
