It will bore any arc of a circle, and its direction is unaffected by knots or the run of the grain. The holes bored are clean, true and flat-bottomed. Overlapping holes can be bored without difficulty. These characteristics make the Forstner Pattern Bit unequalled for Core Boxes, fine and delicate patterns, fancy scrollwork, veneers, screen work, scalloping and all kinds of pattern making.
