Humminbird MHX XNPT Transducer Hardware Kit

I bought this because I didn’t want to drill holes in my 12′ Duroboat with an 8hp Yamaha 4 stroke. I tied a small piece of rope onto the transducer bracket and up to the boats lifting handle in case the suction cup came loose. I don’t think it’s necessary. The suction cup stays put even at 20 mph with the engine wound up. The Humminbird F/F doesn’t lose the signal either. I will eventually glue on a transom saver mount, but for now this Humminbird suction cup does a great job. Or I may not. I am very pleased.
