Description The Robert Sorby 286 Skew Bevelled Framing Chisel is a large framing chisel option with left or right angle skew for achieving a perfectly crisp edge. Ideal for cleaning up corner joints such as dovetails, precise pairing and many other wood joinery tasks. Designed to handle the rigours of deep heavy duty work. Side bevel enables under-cutting. Fitted with Ash handle. Available in 2 sizes: 1″ and 1 1/2″ in either a right hand or left angle skew. The skew angle is 26.5 degrees. The standard 286 bevelled framing chisel has a square end.
